Clearwater encounter (formerly LYFE)

Clearwater Encounter is a youth event put on by the staff and students of Clearwater College. Twice a year, youth from
throughout Canada come to the Clearwater College campus for a weekend of fun, fellowship, teaching, and encountering God.

Clearwater Encounter: Deeper

April 21-23, 2017

SPEAKER // KYLE MILLS

Pastor Kyle has been working with youth for over 15 years. He has spoke to hundreds of young people throughout Alberta and as far as Manitoba. He calls Red Deer home along with his wife, Amanda and his two children Reid (18) and Abagail (12). He is the Lead Pastor at Red Deer First Church of the Nazarene. He loves all things Disney, Pop Culture, Oilers and Eskimos. “Young people are more then our future, they are the driving force for change that will ignite the revival that thousands have been praying decades for.”

Mission

What would it look like if you were face to face with God? If you were to encounter God in that way, would you stay the same? What would change? These are some of the questions we ask every time we begin planning a Clearwater Encounter event.

Our aim is to give young people the opportunity to experience God in a real way, to present the Gospel of Christ, and to extend the Kingdom of God through the equipping of young believers for ministry through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Activities

Each Clearwater Encounter is a weekend filled with fun activities, meaningful worship, and inspiring messages. Ice breakers, creative games, and comfortable lounge areas provide opportunities for youth to let their hair down, enjoy new experiences, and make friends.

what to bring

Please note that due to the amount of people who come to Clearwater Encounter, the rooms that you will be staying in may be rather crowded. Please keep this in mind while packing. Thank you.
