2017 ministry team for the FCA Family Camp


  • Main Speaker: Pastor Tom Kennington

    Pastor Tom and his wife, Faith, founded South Chicago Christian Center which has been ministering to the community since 2011. An engaging communicator, Tom places a strong emphasis on applied Christianity and empowering believers to touch their community with the love and power of Christ. Tom is warmly relational and has extensive experience in evangelism, pastoral ministry, crisis counseling, and networking with community shareholders to meet the felt needs of the disadvantaged.

  • Worship Leader:  Kevin Gerlywich and Team

    Kevin Gerlywich was born and raised in a Christian home on a farm in Grassland, Alberta. He and his wife, Debbie, have resided in Red Deer, AB for the past sixteen years, and they have four children. Gifted as a musician and sensitive to the Holy Spirit, Kevin and his team skillfully lead worshipers into a rich experience of God’s presence.

  • Youth:  Scott Russell

    Pastor Scott has been in youth ministry since he graduated from Living Faith Bible College in 1998. He is currently serving as the youth pastor of Living Branches Church in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and is also the director of The Rock, an inter-church youth drop-in centre. Scott’s huge heart for Jesus and for youth inspires his preaching and his relationships. Scott’s wife, Denise, is also an alumnus of Living Faith.

  • Children:  Les Stephenson (a.k.a. Mr. McTwist)

    Les Stephenson (a.k.a. Mr. McTwist) has been involved in both youth and children's ministry for nearly 20 years. Using story telling and object lessons including ballooning, gospel illusions, drama, puppetry, music and games, he brings understanding and meaning to the Word of God in a fun and exciting way. Les and his wife Angela (a.k.a. Rosie Posie) provide a variety of programs for birthday parties, churches, schools, businesses, and other venues.

Registration

Registration:  $45/individual or $85/family


Registration costs are kept low to make the weekend more available to all families. It actually costs $20 per child per day and $30 per adult per day to run the camp, not including speakers' honorariums. To cover all camp costs, offerings will be received at each service. Give as you are able and as the Lord leads.


First Meal: August 4 at 5:30pm (Check-in anytime before then)

Last Meal: August 7 at 12:00pm
